Here is what 1 hour of lesson includes:

  • Learn Baton Tricks and Skills
  • CBTF Skill Development Program (Badge Progression program offered by the Canadian Baton Twirling Federation )
  • Group Routines 
  • Initiation to Pre-competitive routines 

After a year of participation in the recreational level, athletes have learned enough technique to become pre-competitive athletes if they wish

Here is the difference between the two:

Recreational Group   = 

  • Participation in a Christmas parade
  • Participation in Club Bâton Sportif Outaouais's year end recital 
  • Optional participation in fundraising activities

Pre-Competitive & Competitive Group =

  •  Participation in a Christmas parade
  • Participation in Club Bâton Sportif Outaouais's year end recital 
  • Participation sometimes mandatory in fundraising activities
  • Participation in 2 Competitions a year (usually near Toronto or Montreal)

On the evening of registrations, you will be able to order batons, clothes and accessories. We will wait for the winter session to order Pre-competitive and competitive items such as shoes, tights and jerseys.

Note : If you have a remaining balance for the 2015/2016 season, you will need to pay during this registration session.

You may make your payment by check, cash or interac transfer (NEW)

FORMS: Registration forms are attached to this email. Please fill them in to the best of your knowledge and bring them with you to the registration session. The "Waiver" will follow shorty, as soon as the CBTF releases it for the 2016/2017 season

RULES: : The document on rules and regulations can be found in the "documents" section on our website

Reinforced rules this year:

- Recreational athletes will need to be dressed in tight black jumpsuits, shirts, tank tops, shorts, leggings, etc...

- Competitive athletes will need to be dressed in a black jumpsuit and optional black shorts.

- No cell phones will be allowed within the gym facility unless they want to film their routines. In this case, the coaches will keep hold of them until the end of the class.


 ***If you live somewhere other then Aylmer, Gatineau, Cantley and would like to join our team, please let us know. We are always looking for new locations and might open near you if there is enough demand**
